Prototypes
Strategy/Tactics RPG
This is an active work in progress where you move your characters around the grid while using the terrain and strategy to win. (Mainly inspired by the Fire Emblem series.) 2025

Farmadelic Reboot
My Farmadelic, remade using LÖVE and Lua, primarily as a way to learn that language and framework. This is one of my first games that I created using code only (as compared to my usual Godot engine which has an intuitive UI and lots of pre-built functionality). 2025

A 1-Bit, Turn-Based RPG
Another gigantic RPG project... 2024-2025

Another Experimental Roguelike
2025

Further Nature Game Explorations

ATB Turn-Based Battle Demo
After working on a traditional RPG system for so long, I made a quick active time battle (ATB) demo in the style of Final Fantasy 6. With this system, actors can only act after their ATB gauge fills, which potentially leads to a more dynamic encounter. Don't mind the goofy placeholder art. :) 2024

Final Fantasy (NES)-Inspired Turn-Based RPG
I made this fully featured RPG while making a ~60 hour game design tutorial series in Godot 3.

Farmadelic Neue
A Godot 4 port of my Farmadelic. 2024

Character Creator for a Farming Sim or Etc.
This loads in data from various sprite sheets to customize every part of your character. These sprites are drawn in greyscale to allow color modulation by the sliders on the right. This also features a randomize button in the top left and 4-direction rotation. Art used by permission from Liberated Pixel Cup. 2024

Another Roguelike
2024

More Nature Game Explorations
This time, I tried different resolutions for the art style. I tested tiles in sizes 2x2, 4x4, 8x8. I found it interesting to see how communication of the game data changes with the resolution. 2024

Another Farming Game

A Low-Res Retro-Inspired Turn-Based Role-Playing Game. 2024

A Metroidvania
Side-scrolling cave explorer. 2024

Low-Res Rogue-like Deckbuilder
A low-res, monochromatic take on Slay the Spire. 2023-2024

^ Early version of the map generation.
Disrupted Memories and Assorted Haiku: Reloaded
An enhanced port of one of my first games. 2023

1980s-Style JRPG
I was briefly interested in making an NES-era Final Fantasy game. 2023

Roguelike
I was more interested in figuring out how these games work than actually finishing this. 2023

Isometric Tactical RPG
Quickly testing an isometric art style and movement. Tilesets by artist Gustavo Vituri. 2023

Disrupted Memories and Assorted Haiku II
This is a spiritual successor to Disrupted Memories and Assorted Haiku. I am not super interested in turn-based role-playing games these days, so this one is on the backburner. Original player character art by lunarsignals, with a recolor by abetusk; used under CC BY-SA 3.0 license. 2023

Legend of Bongo
An action RPG, inspired by the original Legend of Zelda. Primary world art and character art by lunarsignals, with a recolor of the player character by abetusk; both used under CC BY-SA 3.0 license. 2023

(Above is a sketch of part of the world map.)
Tactical RPG
A basic yet functional tactical role-playing game combat system. I made this directly before beginning work on Farmadelic. 2023

Tampopo
A turn-based role-playing game, in the style of 1990s Final Fantasy games. 2023

Photography Mini-Game
A photography mini-game, with a light meter that responds to changes in ambient light and camera exposure settings. When pressing the shutter release button, a black overlay covers the screen for the duration of the shutter speed, simulating the act of looking through an optical viewfinder while making an exposure. I intended to expand this as a learning game for my photo students, but I now think it would work best in a 3D game world or VR. 2022

Farming RPG
My first farming game. 2022

Notes
- Most of my games use a font by Void, under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
- For "Tactical RPG" and below, I still need to get other licenses/credits posted. At least until then, consider any to be "fair use" for educational purposes.
